Lipstick Queen are not producing new lipsticks fast enough. It's safe to say that my vanity table now looks like the exact replica of the Lipstick Queen stand in Space NK. Although I pretty much have all the Saints and Sinners, bought Medieval, Jean Queen, Ice Queen and all the other queens on day of launch and am currently experimenting with Black Lace Rabbit, I'm craving something new from the lipstick mogul.
As I'm so in need of a Lipstick Queen fix, I thought I'd delve into my archive of lipsticks and see what I can review next. And out popped Fire Red Sinner.
This seductive red may be the standard pillarbox, classic red that never goes out of style, but Lipstick Queen's version is so much more than that.
Hidden in a dark tube to represent your most sinful looks, this version of Fire Red is 90% pigment, so you get maximum colour the first time you put this on your lips. This red is neutral - it has a good dose of orange, but equally there is blue pigment in there making this ideal for any age or skin tone. It's rich in moisture, very creamy and lasts such a long time. A real winner!
Colour Intensity: high
Finish: creamy texture with some shine / long lasting
Overall Rating: 4/5
You'll like this if: you are looking for a neutral, classic red
Avoid: if you're planning on kissing anyone. Trust me, it's not romantic - it's f**king annoying!
